Ideal for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) looking to establish or improve their performance management approach, this course takes a structured, project-based approach. Participants will develop a comprehensive action plan to implement performance management enhancements that support continuous learning and employee development.
Participants will learn how to do so by aligning performance goals with professional growth opportunities. Key components of this strategy include but not limited to reference to the Skills Framework, how learning will support performance management, mentoring & coaching programmes, reward & recognition system, and stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Learn
1. Identify the business objectives and needs for Performance Management (PM) in the organisation.
2. Review the current PM system based on the different stages of the PM process, emerging market practices, changing workforce composition, future business objectives to identify areas for improvement.
3. Develop an Action Plan to execute the PM improvements.
4. Develop change management initiatives to implement PM changes.
5. Articulate how the PM framework integrates key People processes, such as rewards, career management, and talent management approaches
6. Develop a comprehensive strategy to embed Workplace Learning Culture within PM, incorporating Skills Framework alignment, performance and learning integration, mentoring and coaching programmes, recognition of learning achievements, stakeholder engagement etc
