Excel for HR
About This Course
In this practical 2 days course, you will learn to understand and analyze HR data using Microsoft Excel.
we will be looking at several functions, formulas, pivot tables, charts, data visualization techniques, data tables, statistical techniques to understand and analyze HR Data.
LU1 introduces learners to the basic concepts of statistics, essential for analyzing HR data. Covering topics such as descriptive statistics, probability, and the installation of Excel's Statistical Analysis ToolPak, this unit equips learners with the foundational skills necessary to handle data analysis. By establishing a strong base in statistical principles, learners will begin to bridge the performance gap related to their struggle in applying statistical methods effectively, ultimately gaining proficiency in utilizing these techniques to derive insights from HR data.
LU2 focuses on sampling and hypothesis-testing techniques. This unit guides learners through the processes of conducting hypothesis tests, and applying these concepts to real HR challenges. By engaging in practical exercises, learners will enhance their ability to validate HR strategies systematically, addressing the performance gap of lacking hypothesis testing skills while gaining the ability to conduct hypothesis testing to evaluate HR challenges effectively.
LU3 emphasizes the importance of understanding ethical implications in data analysis, equipping learners with the knowledge to navigate complex legal frameworks. By synthesizing their statistical knowledge with ethical considerations, learners will address the performance gap related to compliance issues, ultimately gaining an understanding of ethical standards and legal compliance in HR analytics.
Overall, the structured sequencing of these learning units is designed to address the performance gaps identified in the HR sector while equipping learners with the necessary attributes to excel in their roles as data-driven HR professionals.
