Apply Strategic Thinking to International Business
This course offers participants the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical strategic decision-making. Through an immersive capstone project, participants will engage in a simulated business environment, tackling key areas such as strategic planning, market research, and international sales and distribution strategies.
Under the guidance of experienced trainers, learners will leverage their expertise to develop a regional business proposal as part of the capstone project. This hands-on experience provides participants with the practical skills and knowledge needed to confidently plan for international expansion, equipping them to navigate the challenges and opportunities of global markets.
What You'll Learn
1. Demonstrate practical application of theories and frameworks like Business Model Canvas, Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Political, Legal, and Ethical (STEEPLE) analysis and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis
2. Formulate a business proposal that includes strategic planning, market research, basic financial projections, international sales & distribution strategies and overseas business expansion plans
3. Contribute to and lead different components of the proposal, overcome challenges, and present as a team in a simulated business environment
