About This Course
By the end of this module, participants should be able to:
• Formulate medical device development Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and schedule
• Analyze, pre-empt and manage project risks
• Develop a detailed and effective resource allocation plan for all health & medtech project activities and implement within agreed cost, timescale and resources
• Communicate effectively amongst multi-disciplinary internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
What You'll Learn
The workshop aims to to equip project managers (whether part time or full time) of translational health & medtech projects at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 -4 and project budgets of S$250k – 750k with the knowledge and skills to:
1) Develop key project objectives and deliverables,
2) Recognize and develop the multidisciplinary clinical, technical and business project activities across a range of medical devices and
3) Recognize and manage projects risks by aligning with multidisciplinary stakeholders; and to develop a detailed budget and resourcing plan.
In this programme, participants will foster attributes to become resourceful and analytical, with the ability to independently plan and manage project resources and obtain buy-in amongst multidisciplinary internal and external stakeholders to drive a TRL 3 – 4 health and medtech project towards completion in a timely and effective manner.
