Objectives:

1. Understand the neurobiology of play and sensory integration

2. Explore social and emotional learning and how this works through play

3. Understand the play needs of children with social and emotional and cognitive challenges.

4. Understand the importance of play in all aspect of learning

Application:

At the end of the workshop, participants are expected to be able to do the following:

1. Identify children's individual play needs in different context

2. Understand and apply development play practice in different work context

3. To be able to design different developmental play applications for a range of clients.

4. Appreciate the roles of different play activities in child development and how they can be used in practice
