What You'll Learn
This course introduces the basic principles of coastal processes and sediment transport, including management of coastal environment, and geotechnical considerations for seafront facilities. The course consists of 6 lectures covering mentioned aspects. Each full day session is split into morning and afternoon half-day periods. Each of the half day periods will cover theoretical foundations, followed by practical (hands-on) problems, assignments and practice-related issues. Course material as well as supporting video, multi-media and simulation tools will be provided to course participants through dedicated channel via NUS on-line educational platform LumiNUS.
Entry Requirements
Bachelor/Diploma holders or equivalent qualifications, OR
- Relevant work experience in related industry
