University of Tartu
Founded in 1632 by King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, the University of Tartu is the national university of Estonia and the oldest in the country. It is the primary center of Estonian intellectual and cultural life and is highly regarded for its research in genomics, molecular biology, and computer science.
