WSQ SEO, AEO, GEO
About This Course
Search has moved beyond the ten blue links. Buyers increasingly get answers directly from featured snippets and AI Overviews, and from generative tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, often without clicking through to a website. Visibility now depends on performing across three connected disciplines: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
This course develops search optimisation as practitioners apply it today, across search engines, answer engines, and generative engines. It builds each phase of the SEO process, keyword research, on-page optimisation, content and link building, and analytics, then extends each phase with answer engine and generative engine technique. Trainees assess where SEO, SEM, answer engines, and generative engines fit a marketing objective, then engineer answer-first content, passage-level optimisation, featured snippet and People Also Ask targeting, and the structured data and entity optimisation that lead answer engines to surface and cite a page.
Trainees then build the entity authority and citations that generative engines rely on, learning how these engines retrieve and cite sources and how content earns a place in AI Overviews and AI assistant answers. The course closes on measurement, tracking AI visibility and citation share alongside keyword rankings and SEO metrics to determine what improves performance.
By the end of the course, trainees can plan and implement search optimisation across SEO, AEO, and GEO, and measure visibility across organic results, answer engines, and generative engines.
