About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Cleaning Sector.
This course targets cleaning staff who are working in the Airport Terminals, Offices, Business Buildings and Complexes, Shopping Centres, Residential, Public Transport, Hospitality, Retail, Hawker Centres and Food Courts or anyone who requires the necessary skills and knowledge to perform basic cleaning of hard floor surfaces.
This is one of the CORE module for PWM Job Title: Cleaner.

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements are as follow:
1. Be new entrants to the cleaning industry or existing cleaners who have not taken this course before.
2. Have undergone job orientation to learn about work roles, responsibilities, limitations, workplace safety and health practices.
3. Be able to read, listen and speak English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 1 so as to understand the training.
4. Possess numeracy skills to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 1.
