About This Course
The main objective of the part-time Specialist Diploma is to equip engineers with skills in critical areas such as embedded systems development, operating systems integration, embedded programming skills & techniques, intelligent edge device development, edge security as well as data visualization implementation.
What You'll Learn
The course introduces participants to embedded software development using ARM-based platforms. It includes extensive curriculum coverage on the integration of embedded operating systems and the development of associated firmware and software solutions. In addition, the course also covers the design and development of smart connected systems which can be an integral part of a larger IoT systems. From deployment of a deep learning model on an embedded processor, building dashboard visualization to hardening of device and systems security, the course helps to address the skillset demands for building a secured and intelligent device or systems.
Entry Requirements
A degree in electronic/electrical engineering, communication engineering, computer engineering, or a relevant discipline or diploma from a local Polytechnic, ITE, or other IHLs with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in relevant field.
