PWM-Security: Deterrence (Manage Disorderly Conduct & Threatening Behavior)
About This Course
The course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM Security Sector. The main target learners for this course are security personnel who are assigned to work in premises that requires them to provide security protection through regulation of movement, and to perform frontline duties such as:
1. Prepare for work activities.
2. Deter threatening behaviour through visible security presence.
3. Deal with disorderly/threatening behaviour.
This course is targeted at security officers who have served 1 year service at the rank of security officer. This course allows officers to upgrade to the rank of senior security officer.
To obtain the rank of Senior security officer Officers must complete 2 required by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Licencing and Regulatory Department (PLRD)

Entry Requirements
Learners are assumed to:
• Be able to read, write and speak English at WSQ WPL Level 2
• Be able to read from a computer monitor and see from a distance
• Possess basic skills in operating a computer
• Be truthful and honest
• Have sense of duty and responsibility on the job
• Be disciplined and able to follow instructions when given
They must:
Be certified by a medical doctor to be physically fit for work as a security officer.
Not be colour-blind or hearing impaired.
Possess a security licence.

Incidents and Services SE-SO-102C-1/SEC-ICM-1003-1.1
Provide Patrol and Guard Services SE-SO-103C-0/SEC-SOP-1007-1.1
Recognise Terrorist Threats SE-SO-104C-0/SEC-OBS-10021-1.1
