PWM-Security: Capability Development (Achieve Work Effectiveness in Security Environment)
About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.
The learning units are sequenced in a ‘Topical’ approach to cover key points from individual topics in no specific order such as assigning work activities, monitoring work performance and review of work performance, learners will next learn to apply the knowledge and skills to effectively achieve work effectiveness in security environment and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace, which includes:
1. Assign work activities
2. Monitor work performance
3. Review work performance
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners should meet the basic entry requirements as indicated below:
1. Ability to read, write, speak, and listen to English at WPL Level 5.
2. Ability to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 5.
3. Education: Minimum GCE N pass in English or equivalent
4. Age: 21 years and above
5. Experience in Security Industry: At least 3 years working as a Senior Security Officers
6. At the TP Admin/ Registration Counter:
• A checklist to be provided to Admin to ensure the learner requirements (above) are met
• To make recommendations on suitable courses if the individual does not meet the entry requirement
• Verification of authenticity can be done via checking on certificates
