About This Course
This course aims to equip learners with the skills necessary to handle a relatively simple fire incident that might happen anywhere in the workplace. These skills will allow learners to handle a fire incident in a cool and calm manner, and execute steps to extinguish the fire. The fire incident should be small and be simple to contain. In addition, learners will also learn the proper way to handle a fire extinguisher, and also learn about several precautions to take for fire hazards.
What You'll Learn
This course was developed to equip staff or workers in various workplaces with the skills to handle small fire incidents. As the Industry involved covers all possible industries, the nature is very wide and hence difficult to define. There is however one similar feature involved. The workplace of any particular industry will always have a small area that has the potential to become a fire hazard.
