WSQ Advanced SEO, AEO & GEO
About This Course
Search has moved beyond the ten blue links. Buyers increasingly get answers directly from featured snippets and AI Overviews, and from generative tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, often without ever clicking through to a website. Visibility now depends on performing across three disciplines at once: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
This advanced course covers expert-level search optimisation as practitioners apply it today, across classic search engines, answer engines, and generative engines. It reinforces and deepens each phase of the SEO process, keyword research, on-page, off-page, and analytics, then extends it with advanced AEO and GEO technique.
Answer Engine Optimisation is addressed in depth, covering answer-first content engineering, passage-level optimisation, featured snippet and People Also Ask targeting, and the structured data and entity optimisation that lead answer engines to surface and cite a page. Generative Engine Optimisation follows, covering how generative engines retrieve and cite sources, from retrieval-augmented generation and embeddings to the way AI Overviews and AI assistants select citations, and how to build the entity authority and citations that earn them. The course further develops the advanced technical diagnostics, off-page and digital PR, and audit and analytics capabilities that underpin search performance, including measuring AI visibility and citation share alongside traditional rankings.
Set in a real-world context with live participant case studies, expert-led successful and unsuccessful examples, and hands-on implementation, the course builds practitioner-level capability throughout.
By the end of the course, trainees can plan and execute an integrated SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy, audit a live website across all three disciplines, and measure visibility across organic and AI-powered search.
