Post-Diploma Certificate in Principles of Endoscopy Nursing (PDC1 of Specialist Diploma in Nursing (Endoscopy)) aims to prepare the learners in the following:
1. in-depth study of important pathophysiology processes related to specific gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary systems.
2. examine the importance of evidence-based practice (EBP) and the key influencing factors on the adoption of EBP in healthcare and nursing. It will equip the learners with knowledge and skills through critical appraisal and synthesis of research evidence in a systematic approach.
3. focus on the care and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and accessories, specimen collection and environmental safety in the endoscopy setting will be examined.

Entry Requirements
1)A Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent
qualification
2)Registered nurses with valid practising certificate from the Singapore
Nursing Board (SNB)
3)Registered nurses with one-year post-registration experience and a minimum of 6 months of the discipline of study
