About This Course

After attending the course, learners will be able to evaluate cloud storage techniques and threats on data stored in the cloud and understand how to protect cloud data from attacks. They will be abel to evaluate various cloud security standards, compliance programs, and features offered by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and perform cloud computing security audits. They will understand and implement security for private, multi-tenant, and hybrid cloud environments.

What You'll Learn

This course aims to impart core knowledge and skills to identify, design, implement and maintain security for cloud-based services through best practices, in compliance with existing cloud security standards. They will also be able to develop risk management plans for cloud services, applications and deployments.

Entry Requirements

Candidates need to have at least one of the following:
(1) Recognised IT Diploma/Degree, or
(2) Holding at least one other EC-Council certification, or
(3) At least 5 years' experience in the IT/cybersecurity field, and having passed an aptitude test to be conducted by the polytechnic, or
(4) Attained the Specialist Diploma in Information Security or Specialist Diploma in Cybersecurity by NYP
