About This Course

Following are the course objectives.
• To prepare individuals with a start-up lab initiative which aims to nurture students with entrepreneurial mind-set to become successful in pursuing their entrepreneurial dream
• To guide aspiring entrepreneurs in their start-up journey by infusing entrepreneur mindset, business acumen customer focus and relationship building.
• To impart cross-disciplinary entrepreneurial skills beyond the food & beverage industry with one of the six key domains of market segments namely, well-being, sustainability, tourism, do good, education and journalism.

What You'll Learn

Specialist Diploma in Food Entrepreneurship is a 6-month non-WSQ e-learning programme under certifiable skills supported by SSG that provides the participants with the opportunity to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset to become successful in pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams. It is expected to impart cross-disciplinary entrepreneurial skills beyond the food & beverage industry with one of the six key domains of market segments namely, well-being, sustainability, tourism, charity, education, and journalism. This innovative course and one of the first of its kind, is expected to expand and stimulate cross-disciplinary food-related entrepreneurship beyond the Food Service industry driven by design and technology.

Entry Requirements

Academic Level Required:
Singaporean / Singapore PR Applicants: • Obtained at least a pass in a polytechnic diploma/ITE diploma or equivalent qualifications in the relevant field of study; OR International Applicants: • Obtained at least a pass in a diploma or equivalent qualifications in the relevant field of study

Language Proficiency:
• Obtained at least an IELTS score of 5.5 / TOEFL (internet-based total) score of 46-59 / WPL Level 5

Work Experience Required:
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of working experience in any F&B related establishments and/or in any of the six key disciplines of well-being, sustainability, tourism, do good, education, journalism and should be at least 19 years old. • Completed/exempted from National Service (for Singaporean males only
