At the end of this module, participants will be able to:
1. Articulate the need to have national competency standards for entry-level pharmacy technicians
2. Familiarise with the skill elements in each of the 7 domains within the PT ETP framework
3. Contextualise skill elements to institutional settings
4. Administer assessments using stipulated assessment tools
5. Identify trainees’ learning gap based on training records, and assessments
What You'll Learn
This module provides learners with the background and overview of the Pharmacy Technician Entry to Practice Framework (PT ETP). Learners will be familiarised with the domains and skill elements within the framework. They will be able to use this knowledge in performing standardised assessments, to ensure that required competency standards are met.
