About This Course
This course offers an introduction to the use of mobile phones to take photos of visitors’ tour experiences. It equips the TGs with the skills and knowledge needed to leverage mobile technology effectively, creating unforgettable moments for visitors and enhancing their overall experience.
The course covers two key aspects:
1) Identifying unique locations, moments, and experiences to take memorable photos
2) Making use of the mobile phone efficiently and effectively to capture memorable moments
This course will enhance the capabilities of TGs to leave a lasting impression on the visitors.
What You'll Learn
1. Identify opportunities for creating memorable moments.
2. Recommend unique locations and experiences to take digital photos.
3. Develop the knowledge and skills to use the mobile phones to take digital photos effectively
4. Develop the skill to photograph different scenarios like architecture, portraits, landscapes, and food
5. Compose professional photo images with basic photography rules.
6. Make use of light to enhance the digital photos.
7. Edit the digital photos to enhance the images.
Entry Requirements
Academic Level/Certification Required: Tourist Guide license as issued by the Singapore Tourism Board OR Primary Six education
Language Proficiency: Basic written and verbal English/Mandarin communication skills, depending on the course language
Work Experience Required: N/A
Minimum Age Required: 21 years old
