About This Course
This 7.5 hours course aims to provide family caregivers and foreign domestic workers with a basic level of knowledge and skills required for the mental and physical care of the elderly. On the mental aspect, the course focuses on how caregivers can communicate with the elderly as well as looking out for signs of negative emotions. On the physical aspect, the course focuses on areas of personal hygiene, dietary regime, exercise and mobility, as well as how the caregiver can identify and manage common elderly ailments.
