Specialist Diploma in IoT for Sustainable Solutioning
About This Course
Learners will be awarded Specialist Diploma in IoT for Sustainable Solutioning upon successful completion of two of the following Post Diploma Certificates:
- Post Diploma Certificate in Carbon Management for a Sustainable Economy
- Post-Diploma Certificate in IoT Implementation for Sustainability Solutioning
This is a 12-month course with 300 training hours.

The proposed course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to leverage IoT technologies and carbon management for achieving sustainable practices in manufacturing. It will prepare learners to assume complex roles in engineering, sustainability, operations, and related fields, which aligns with the growing demand for professionals capable of integrating IoT for sustainable practices and effective carbon management in manufacturing environment.
Entry Requirements
The minimum admission requirements are:
- Candidates should have a recognised university degree or diploma from a local Polytechnic, ITE, or other IHLs in engineering or science, or other relevant disciplines.
- Candidates with degrees or diplomas in other (non-relevant) disciplines, who have relevant work experience (RWE), will be considered.
- For applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements may be considered based on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with evidence of at least 5 years of RWE; or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test(s).
