The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Perioperative) course will offer the following modules:

What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
(1) Provide appropriate perioperative nursing care for clients undergoing surgeries, procedures and anaesthesia using appropriate nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team;
(2) Demonstrate competence in perioperative skills following criteria specified in the competency assessment rubrics; and
(3) Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking with reference to client and perioperative context.

Entry Requirements
• Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
• Singapore Nursing Board registration;
• 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
