The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Palliative Care) course will offer the following modules:

What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
(1) Apply evidence of palliative care nursing in the development of nursing practices using principles of evidence-based practice and appropriate appraisal framework;
(2) Develop comprehensive nursing care plans in the management of pain and other physical symptoms for clients with life threatening or life limiting illnesses using a systematic approach; and
(3) Plan end-of-life care for clients with life threatening or life limiting illnesses, and their families with reference to their physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs using collaborative care approach.
(1) Apply evidence of palliative care nursing in the development of nursing practices using principles of evidence-based practice and appropriate appraisal framework;

Entry Requirements
• Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
• Singapore Nursing Board registration;
• 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
