Post-Diploma Certificate in Advanced Concepts in Midwifery will offer the following modules:

2) Complex Midwifery Care (60 hours)
3) Complex Neonatal Care (60 hours)
What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
1) Plan for care of women and newborns with complex obstetric conditions, emergencies and associated complications using a systematic, comprehensive and focused approach;
2) Apply concepts of care for women and newborns with complex conditions and emergencies, their families and significant others in midwifery settings with reference to appropriate psychosocial concepts and counselling skills; and
3) Apply evidence in midwifery in the development of midwifery practices using principles of evidence-based practice and appropriate appraisal framework.

Entry Requirements
• Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
• Singapore Nursing Board registration;
• 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
