About This Course
This training equips first-time managers with essential leadership and management skills to navigate the challenges of their new roles. Through interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and experiential exercises, participants will gain practical skills to empower teams, foster collaboration, and drive sustainable organisational success. The training focuses on fostering a strong team culture, promoting vision and purpose, and building a future-directed, resilient organisation by integrating long-term, holistic strategies. Participants will learn how to analyse their environments, develop actionable plans, implement strategies, nurture talent, and manage relationships effectively. By the end of the training, participants will gain greater confidence and be better prepared with the strategic mindset and leadership capabilities to inspire teams, align efforts with organisational goals, and contribute towards a high-performing, future-ready organisation.

Entry Requirements
Participants should be currently working in Social Service Agencies (SSAs) or community healthcare agencies; and hold at least a diploma in relevant qualifications. They must be a first-time manager or reporting officer.
