About This Course
This WSQ Workplace Safety and Health course, or Comply with Workplace Safety and Health Policies and Procedures, is developed to train cleaning professionals in applying WSH for the cleaning industry by providing them with occupational health and safety training. This allows them to perform cleaning services safely in accordance with workplace safety and health regulations and organisational procedures.
What You'll Learn
This training adheres to the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework, emphasizing safety protocols, risk management, and employee well-being.
Learners will learn;
Understand Workplace Safety & Health Act.
Identify common risks and report potential hazards and risks associated in the Environmental Services Industry and Apply WSH Risk Control Measures.
Respond to the types of emergencies at workplace
Entry Requirements
Pre-requisites
Candidates must be in proper dress code and adhere to the following when attending class:
Do not wear slippers
Do not wear accessories/jewelry
Do not wear nail polish or fake fingernails
Keep fingernails short and clean
Keep long hair tied back and in a tidy condition
The admission requirements are:
Read, write, and speak English at WPL Level 1
Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 1
Never attended school; pre-primary / kindergarten education; primary education without PSLE / PSPE certification or equivalent.
Minimum of two months of work experience in the cleaning operations sector as a General Cleaner, Indoor Cleaner, Outdoor Cleaner, Healthcare Cleaner, Restroom Cleaner, Table-top Cleaner, Dishwasher or have completed similar module or
Fresh entrants into the industry.
