Washroom Maintenance Level 1
About This Course
This course is to equip trainees with the essential skills and knowledge to maintain washroom cleanliness and hygiene safely and effectively.
What You'll Learn
Learners will learn;
1. How to conduct Initial Washroom Inspection.
2. Replenish All Consumables
3. Cleaning Wash Room following proper PPE protocols.
4. Clearing Waste properly
5 Cleaning the floor (include topics for sweeping and damp moppping)
6 Reinstating (including final inspection and reporting).
On completion of this module, participant will be equipped with the necessary and relevant knowledge and skill sets in safety and health procedures to be taken when cleaning and maintining washroom.
Entry Requirements
Pre-requisites
Candidates must be in proper dress code and adhere to the following when attending class:
Do not wear slippers
Do not wear accessories/jewelry
Do not wear nail polish or fake fingernails
Keep fingernails short and clean
Keep long hair tied back and in a tidy condition
The admission requirements are:
Read, write, and speak English at WPL Level 1
Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 1
Never attended school; pre-primary / kindergarten education; primary education without PSLE / PSPE certification or equivalent.
Minimum of two months of work experience in the cleaning operations sector as a General Cleaner, Indoor Cleaner, Outdoor Cleaner, Healthcare Cleaner, Restroom Cleaner, Table-top Cleaner, Dishwasher or have completed similar module or
Fresh entrants into the industry.
