Conducting Quality Assurance & Quality Control for Solar PV Systems
About This Course
In every solar project, the element of quality assurance and quality control is vital to the reliability, performance and safety of the users. This course aims to provide participants with a foundation of QA/QC in PV.
Through the course, learners will learn about how QA/QC leads optimises performance and safety. Participants will learn to conduct inspections on materials. They will also learn about how to identify defects and apply industry best practices on storage of materials.
By the end of the course, participants be able to utilise various inspection methods to identify quality defects throughout the installation stage of PV.
What You'll Learn
- Describe the key components of a solar PV system and the concepts of QA/QC used in the solar PV industry.
- Perform material inspection and on-site quality control checks to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify common defects in a solar PV installation.
