The Practical Podcast Lab
About This Course
This immersive, 2-day programme equips participants with intermediate digital media production skills and AI-assisted workflows to build, edit, and grow a podcast that consistently engages audiences. Using the proven OpenHaus Playbook (1M+ views, featured on Singapore Airlines’ KrisWorld), learners move beyond podcast basics to master storytelling, recording, editing, publishing, and promotion — all with a phone-first approach and free, accessible tools.
Participants will create a repeatable podcast workflow, record and edit a 3–4 minute segment, and use AI tools (Otter.ai, ChatGPT Free, CapCut Auto-Captions) to generate show notes, titles, and social media captions. Ethical use of AI and human review are emphasised to ensure quality, authenticity, and brand voice.
By the end of the programme, learners will have an edited episode, cover art, social clip, and a 6-week publishing plan, giving them a clear path to continue producing and promoting their podcast after the course.
