About This Course
After the course, learners will be able to:
- know the process of managing and performing a penetration test.
- apply the principles and knowledge of Cybersecurity in helping to secure systems, networks and data.
- describe current hacking techniques and trends.
- apply tools and techniques to perform a penetration test.
What You'll Learn
The course will teach learners the fundamentals of Cybersecurity and Penetration Testing. Learners will know the the process of conducting a Penetration Testing project, the tools and techniques needed and how to communicate with clients or owners of the systems which they are testing on.
Entry Requirements
(1) Recognised IT Diploma/Degree, or
(2) Holding at least one other EC-Council certification, or
(3) At least 5 years' experience in the IT/cybersecurity field, and having passed an aptitude test to be conducted by the polytechnic, or
(4) Attained the Specialist Diploma in Information Security or Specialist Diploma in Cybersecurity by NYP
