What You'll Learn

The Specialist Diploma in Food Entrepreneurship is a six-month, non-WSQ e-learning programme designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge and skills to support their pursuit of entrepreneurial ventures. The programme adopts a cross-disciplinary approach, extending beyond the food and beverage industry to address key market segments such as well-being, sustainability, tourism, charity, education, and journalism. It aims to foster innovation in food-related entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on design and technology, and to support business development beyond the traditional Food Service sector.

Entry Requirements

Academic Level Required:
Singaporean / Singapore PR Applicants: • Obtained at least a pass in a polytechnic diploma/ITE diploma or equivalent qualifications in the relevant field of study; OR International Applicants: • Obtained at least a pass in a diploma or equivalent qualifications in the relevant field of study.

Language Proficiency:
• Obtained at least an IELTS score of 5.5 / TOEFL (internet-based total) score of 46-59 / WPL Level 5

Work Experience Required:
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of working experience, preferred, in any F&B related establishments and/or in any of the six key disciplines of well-being, sustainability, tourism, do good, education, journalism and should be at least 19 years old. • Completed/exempted from National Service (for Singaporean males only).

Minimum Age Required:
19
