About This Course

"This course is designed to equip supervisors, team leaders, and professionals with the essential competencies to manage and resolve conflicts effectively within organisational settings, focusing on strengthening managerial capability in handling interpersonal dynamics, maintaining team performance, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals and governance standards.

In today’s complex and fast-paced work environments, conflicts may arise from differences in perspectives, competing priorities, communication breakdowns, or resource constraints. If not managed effectively, such conflicts can impact employee morale, productivity, stakeholder relationships, and overall organisational performance. This course addresses these challenges by providing learners with structured approaches and tools to manage conflicts constructively and professionally.

Learners will develop the ability to identify early indicators of workplace conflict, analyse underlying causes, and take appropriate ownership of conflict situations within their scope of responsibility. The course emphasises the application of effective communication and negotiation techniques, enabling learners to engage stakeholders with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. In addition, learners will be guided on applying organisational policies, ethical considerations, and best practices when resolving conflicts. Beyond immediate resolution, the course also focuses on post-conflict evaluation and continuous improvement. Learners will be equipped to assess the effectiveness of conflict management approaches, identify recurring patterns, and recommend preventive measures to strengthen team collaboration and workplace harmony.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to analyse workplace conflict situations to determine appropriate resolution strategies, apply suitable communication and negotiation techniques, and recommend preventive improvements aligned with organisational procedures and ethics."
