About This Course

This module is part of the Skillsfuture Career Transition Programme Certificate in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, a structured 3-month programme aimed at equipping participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills in pharmaceutical production, quality assurance and quality control in the highly regulated GMP environments. This course prepares participants for a fulfilling professional career in the pharmaceutical industry which continues to grow and expand in Singapore. Learners will learn and gain hands-on skills in small molecule drug and biologics production, pharmaceutical operations & applications, chemical analysis, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and workplace safety for the processing industry. The minimum entry requirement is a polytechnic diploma from any discipline.

What You'll Learn

This module develops learners with competencies in carrying out important test methods and operating testing equipment in the pharmaceutical industries. Through this competency unit, learners will acquire the skills to perform chemical analysis using industry-standard test methods and equipment. Learners will be competent to handle chromatographic methods, spectrochemical methods and physical testing methods.

Entry Requirements

1) Diploma of any discipline and a pass in any GCE 'O' level science subject.

2) GCE 'A' level with a pass in any science subject and 'IB' Certificate with working experience may be considered.
