Vibe Coding
About This Course
Vibe coding is a new way of building software. Instead of writing code line by line, you describe what you want in plain English and AI tools translate that intent into working code. You direct the build through conversation; the AI does the technical work. The result is real, deployable software produced by someone with no programming background, and a faster path from idea to working prototype than traditional development can offer.
This course teaches vibe coding from the ground up, with prompt engineering as its core discipline. Using tools such as Lovable and Claude Code, learners set up a working AI coding environment, then learn to specify build intent through a structured prompt framework, applying prompt patterns and techniques that shape AI output and testing how prompt wording changes what the model builds. From there, learners build and iterate on real working projects, read and navigate AI-generated code, debug problems through AI conversation, connect live data and APIs, deploy to the public web, and apply the workflow and prompt patterns that keep vibe-coded projects coherent and maintainable.
The course also treats vibe coding as a driver of innovation and improvement in everyday work: learners examine real business use cases (MVPs, internal tools, dashboards, and workflow automation), identify opportunities in their own work processes where a built tool would enhance efficiency and productivity, and turn an idea into a working prototype they can pilot, refine, and extend. By the end of the course, every learner will have built and deployed a working web application with a real URL, produced entirely through natural language with no code written manually.
What You'll Learn
- Explain what vibe coding is and how it differs from traditional software development and from prompting AI for text outputs
- Choose and configure the right vibe coding tool for a given use case across the broader ecosystem (Lovable, Claude Code, Cursor, Bolt.new, v0, Replit)
- Specify build intent using a structured 5-element prompt framework, with the precision needed to produce useful AI-generated output on the first or second attempt
- Build a complete, interactive web application prototype from scratch using only natural language
- Read and navigate AI-generated code without prior software development experience
- Debug failures through AI conversation by capturing and describing the right error context
- Connect live data sources, databases, and external APIs to make a project genuinely useful
- Deploy a working project to the public web with a shareable URL
- Build more complex multi-page and data-driven applications while maintaining codebase coherence
- Apply prompt patterns and iteration workflows that experienced vibe coders use to keep AI output consistent across a growing project
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in their own work processes, applying vibe coding to real business use cases such as MVPs, internal tools, dashboards, and workflow automation
- Pilot, maintain, and extend vibe-coded projects responsibly without accumulating unmanageable technical debt
Entry Requirements
● Minimum age: 18
● Years of working experience: 1
● No prior programming experience required; basic familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT helpful but not mandatory
