Business and Email Writing with AI
About This Course
Most professionals write every day, and almost none of them have ever been taught how. They write emails that bury the point, reports that tell the manager nothing new, and proposals that forget to make the case for why the reader should care. AI assistance only multiplies the output of writers who already know what good writing looks like. This course builds the judgment alongside the tool.
It covers business writing and report writing as a craft: trainees compile, write and edit reports for clarity and readability, producing clear, concise and readable reports, proposals, memos, meeting records, and policies supported by facts and evidence. Trainees learn to organise and prioritise information in a systematic manner for different types of audience and documentation, apply clarity frameworks and document structures, and use writing methods and techniques to communicate in a clear and concise manner, with AI as a drafting and editing partner.
It also covers email writing as a distinct discipline, where trainees brainstorm, ideate and utilise writing strategies and plans to maximise user engagement: applying content creation frameworks and user engagement tactics across workplace emails, difficult messages, persuasive emails that move stakeholders, and client outreach that earns a reply, and building content strategies and plans around audience needs and expectations, content formats, templates, and editorial planning for email campaign sequences.
By the end of the course, trainees will be able to write faster, more clearly, and with more consistent impact across the reports, business documents, and emails they handle in their professional role, engaging each audience with disciplined writing strategies and AI as a productivity accelerator, not a crutch.
