Coordinating WSH practices for solar PV projects (Classroom and Asynchronous)
About This Course
Coordinating WSH practices for solar PV projects is an intensive one-day course designed for supervisors, safety personnel, engineers and site leaders involved in solar photovoltaic (PV) installation activities.
The course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to oversee the safe execution of solar work by monitoring high-risk activities, verifying permit-to-work requirements and enforcing workplace safety controls.
Real world centered discussions, case studies and realistic workplace scenarios, equip participants with the ability to supervise lifting operations, work at heights, electrical works and heat stress management activities commonly encountered on solar projects.
The course also develops supervisory communication skills using established briefing and intervention techniques to promote compliance and address unsafe behaviours effectively. By the end of the course, learners will be able to lead work teams, enforce safe work practices and support the safe delivery of solar PV projects.
