Planning and execution of QA/QC for solar PV projects (Classroom and Asynchronous)
About This Course
This course equips supervisors and engineers with the foundational quality management capabilities required to plan and execute QA/QC activities for solar PV projects. Participants will learn how to develop a Project Quality Plan (PQP), construct an Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), identify quality risks, and apply documented information to ensure installation consistency and compliance.
Practical exercises guide participants through PV‑specific inspection stages, planning workflows, and documentation requirements essential for high‑quality project delivery.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to explain QA/QC roles and impacts across PV project phases; apply ISO‑based planning concepts to develop a PQP; construct an ITP aligned to project requirements and define inspection stages, criteria, and documentation needs.
What You'll Learn
• Explain the role and impact of QA/QC across PV phases.
• Describe ISO 9001 structure and explain how QMS principles support planning and control for PV projects.
• Develop a basic PQP addressing risks, responsibilities, stakeholders, and planning requirements for PV projects.
• Construct an ITP aligned to the PQP, defining inspection stages, H/I/R points, and documentation criteria.
