Managing and harnessing the talent and industry of employees have become the cornerstone to achieving an organisation’s business goals. This starts with understanding the rights & obligations of the organisation as well as the employees under Singapore’s legal framework. Whether it be dealing with individual contracts or as a group through the representation of trade unions, it is pivotal that managers, front line supervisors and HR professionals have a working knowledge of employment laws and guidelines governing the employer-employee relationship.
The course will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding & application of key features of Singapore's labour legislation enabling them to deal effectively with issues including coverage of the Employment Act, contributions to the Central Provident Fund, employment of foreign manpower, post retirement re-employment. Participants will also learn to apply the guidelines of fair employment practices that are advocated by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair Employment Practices.

Entry Requirements
The participants are assumed to possess:
1. Age: 21 Years (MIN)
2. Have at least 3 years of work experience at line supervisor/executive/managerial level.
3. Possess at least GCE N levels or equivalent
4. Be able to read, write and speak in English {(Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) Level 6; or IELTS 6.0 or its equivalent.}
5. WPN Level on Numeracy – Level 6
