What You'll Learn
The Counselling Skills and Practice: Introduction workshop is a highly experiential workshop designed for participants with little or no background in counselling. The workshop aims to provide participants with a fundamental overview of the principles of counselling and its corresponding skills and techniques. Additionally, the workshop features practical hands-on application of communication techniques in overcoming barriers when aiding clients. Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants have the option to enrol and attend the progressive module entitled: “Counselling Skills and Practice: Intermediate”.
                                Entry Requirements
•	Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6 and above 
•	Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6 and above
•	Be able to use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 6 and above
