What You'll Learn
The Case Management in Practice is an introductory workshop which seeks to equip new social workers with less than one year experience with an understanding of case management in practice. The workshop provides participants with a broad understanding of the fundamentals of how case management serves as a means for achieving client wellness and autonomy through advocacy, dialogue, identification of service resources and direction. Additionally the workshop helps participants in linking the connections between the case manager, the client, and appropriate service personnel, and other stakeholders in order to optimse assistance rendered.
                                Entry Requirements
Target audience includes new social workers with less than one year experience, new counsellors, and frontline practitioners within any social work setting. The skills and knowledge for this course, which the learner is assumed to possess, are as follows
