What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners should meet the basic entry requirements as indicated below:
1. Ability to read, write, speak, and listen to English at WPL Level 3.
2. Ability to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3.
3. Education: Minimum Secondary 2 education.
4. Age: 21 and above
5. Experience in Security Industry: 6 months security industry experience as a Security Officer.
6. Learners should be able to read a computer monitor and see at a distance and possess basic skills in operating a computer
6. At the ATO Admin/ Registration Counter:
• A checklist to be provided to Admin to ensure the learner requirements (above) are met
• To make recommendations on suitable courses if the individual does not meet the entry criteria
• Verification of authenticity can be done via checking on certificates
• Those that do not meet the entry requirement will be subjected to interview before acceptance
