WSQ Project Management in Solar Photovoltaic Installation (Classroom and Asynchronous)
About This Course
Learners will be able to:
To create a project charter for a solar PV installation project within an organisational context
To develop project and budget plans, with clear consideration of the risk mitigation measures, allocation of resources and stakeholder communication channels, in carrying out a solar PV installation project.
To apply appropriate methodologies and tools for the solar PV installation project.
To monitor and resolve any issues in order to complete the project within the timeline, resources and budget allocated
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners are assumed to:
• Knowledgeable of electrical engineering competencies
• be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 4;
• be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS level 4; and
• be able to process numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS level 4
• possess at least 1 year working experience in engineering-related jobs
• possess broad knowledge of critical tasks in related industries e.g. construction, data, budgeting, managing timelines.
Specifically for this module, learners are also assumed to:
• possess skills across diverse fields like WSH, mechanical, computer science, EEE while some experience in Construction or Data Management will be an asset
