About This Course
The objectives are for learner to attain the knowledge and ability to handle security incidents and services with the learning Outcomes
•	Handle fire-related incidents
•	Handle suspicious behaviour and crime-related incidents
•	Handle medical or first-aid related incidents
•	Handle bomb or IED (Improvised Explosive Device) threat incidents
•	Contain incidents of damage to facilities and equipment
•	Search, apprehend and arrest suspect
•	Give evidence in court

Entry Requirements
Assumed attitudes
•	Learners must be self-motivated, demonstrate a positive attitude and be ready and willing to learn.
•	Have a genuine interest in applying and using the skills and knowledge they learn.
Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Learners are assumed to have been able to:
•	read, write and speak English at Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
•	manipulate numbers at Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4
Experience in security related industry
•	No prior experience required as this is an entry level course.
Physical and medical requirement
•	Certified by a medical doctor to be physically fit for work.
If learner does not meet entry requirement 
•	Learner would be asked to take a Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) assessment. British Council (Singapore) Limited is the appointed assessment centre. Leaner will be able to enrol for the course when they present their certificate showing attainment of min Level 4 WPLN.
