About This Course
At the end of the course, learners will be able to acquire the skills and knowledge to:
LO1: Assess the clients’ and social, emotional, psychological and cultural needs using various assessment methods (A1, K1, K4)
LO2: Identify and tap on appropriate community resources and/or funding schemes (A5, K6)
LO3: Conduct environmental scanning on the client (A6)
LO4: Coordinate needs assessment with other social service professionals (A7)
LO5: Develop programmes that incorporate inclusive practices and cultural and social considerations of client groups (A4, K5, K9)
LO6: Define programme outcomes using organisation’s methods for programme development (A2, K3, K10)
LO7: Apply evidence-based approach to developing programmes (A3, K2, K10)
LO8: Determine manpower, resources and training required for delivering programmes
