About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.
At the end of this course, the learner shall be able to have the knowledge and application skills in providing supervision to his officers and be able to apply them at the workplace efficiently & effectively and take appropriate actions to ensure premises & stakeholders are well protected.
The learning outcomes for each of the learning units in Berjaya’s ACM course:
Learning unit 1: Operate access control equipment
LO1: Learners would be able to operate access control equipment during entry and exit of pedestrians and vehicles and complete the documentation in accordance with organisation procedures.
Learning unit 2: Operate alarm monitoring equipment
LO2: Learners would be able to operate alarm monitoring equipment and complete the documentation in accordance with organisation procedures.
Learning unit 3: Operate CCTV monitoring equipment
LO3: Learners would be able to operate CCTV monitoring equipment, minor troubleshooting, and complete the documentation in accordance with organisation procedures .

This course is designed primarily for the training of all personnel performing the role of a security officer or an auxiliary officer.
The profile of the target learners:
1. New entrants to the security guarding sector;
2. Individuals who are required to complete this course as a requirement for deployment to the site;
3. Matured workers and retirees re-joining the workforce;
4. Individuals opting for a career switch to the security guarding sector.
The target learners are assumed to:
1. Be able to read, write and speak English at WSQ WPL Level 4
2. Be able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
3. Act in a professional manner

6. Have a sense of duty and responsibility on the job
