About This Course
To enable participants to acquire new knowledge and skills to identify 30 different types of native herbal plants and thus to apply these new skills to heal themselves and those around them.
What You'll Learn
Due to the change of living environment, nine out of ten Singaporeans are far away from the countryside, and it is difficult to have access to raw herbs. The cultivation of local herbs is increasingly concentrated in community gardens. In order to let the public know about local herbs, this course will introduce the sources, families, scientific names and aliases of herbs, and explain the characteristic and taste properties, functional effects, cultivation and dietary therapy of raw herbs. It is more important to distinguish between poisonous and non-poisonous plants.
