About This Course

Linear career paths are obsolete; navigating unexpected twists requires essential learning agility. In today's operating environment, often described by the complex BANI framework (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible), professionals face constant disruption, demanding a fundamental shift in how they learn and adapt. This workshop is a must-attend because it moves beyond theoretical concepts to provide a deeply experiential exploration of the various dimensions of learning agility: Mental, People, Results, Change, and Self-awareness.

Through unique, hands-on experiential activities, participants will gain profound, embodied insights into navigating complexity, collaborating effectively, achieving results in ambiguity, embracing change, and leveraging self-awareness. Through learning by doing, this programme enables you to directly apply strategies that overcome common learning blockers and foster a growth mindset. Crucially, it equips you with the understanding to cultivate these capabilities within yourself, your teams, and your organisation. Be prepared to step outside your comfort zone; it is here that the most valuable learning and growth occur.

What You'll Learn

This course equips professionals in Adult Education, Learning and Development, Human Resources, and Organisational Development with practical strategies to build learning agility in themselves and others. Participants will apply an evidence-based five dimensions of learning agility to assess their ability to lead through uncertainty, overcome learning blockers, and respond more effectively in fast-changing work environments.
Through reflection on real workplace experiences and immersive activities, they will strengthen their ability to draw insights from daily challenges, improving how they lead change, solve problems, collaborate across teams, and foster agile learning cultures.

By the end of the programme, participants should be able to:
- Explain the concept of learning agility and the five core dimensions (Mental, People, Results, Change, Self-Awareness).
- Identify and analyse common blockers to learning agility in workplace situations.
- Apply the five dimensions of learning agility to assess and respond to real work challenges.
- Identify how learning from experience occurs through the four learning behaviours: seeking, sense-making, internalising, and applying.
- Outline a personal learning agility action plan to embed learning in the flow of work.
