About This Course
This course equips cleaners and cleaning professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to clean various types of vertical surfaces, including glass, ceilings, and walls. Learners will understand different surface types, choose suitable cleaning agents and equipment, follow hygiene and safety procedures, perform effective spot cleaning, and reinstate work areas according to industry standards.
What You'll Learn
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
LO1: Select and don appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in preparation for vertical surface cleaning activities
LO2: Select and load trolley with appropriate tools, equipment, and cleaning agents based on types of vertical and ceiling surfaces to be cleaned
LO3: Deploy appropriate safety signage at designated areas prior to start of cleaning activities
LO4: Perform appropriate cleaning of the assigned vertical surfaces in accordance with set procedures, guidelines and regulations
LO5: Replenish cleaning supplies used in cleaning and report any areas that could not be cleaned at the point in time to the supervisor

• The learner must be 18 years old and above.
• No prior experience required.
Measures to ascertain learner suitability
• Training Department will check the suitability by checking the relevant documents (such as, NRIC, SOA for WPLN) / consulting the learner during application.
