About This Course
This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to develop an appropriate career coaching and mentoring framework for the organisation. It covers determining the scope of career coaching and mentoring services, planning systems and resources, developing an action plan to operationalise the framework, advocating and encouraging employees to access career services, implementing strategies to maintain privacy and confidentiality and
reviewing the effectiveness, and making improvements to the framework.
What You'll Learn
1. Determine scope of career coaching, mentoring and development services to be offered to employees to meet organisational and individual needs
2. Plan the systems and resources required to align career coaching and mentoring framework with the relevant human resource (HR) processes
3. Develop action plan to operationalise the career coaching and mentoring framework and career development strategies
4. Advocate and encourage individuals to commit to and access career coaching and mentoring services
5. Implement strategies to maintain privacy and confidentiality of career coaching and mentoring records in accordance with professional, legal and organisational requirements
6. Review career coaching and mentoring framework to identify gaps and recommend improvements
Entry Requirements
Prospective candidates should have a minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline and at least 2 years of HR or people management experience
OR
Diploma holders with at least 3 years of HR or people management experience may also be accepted.
