Case Management In Practice (WSQ) (Classroom & Asynchronous)
About This Course
The learner will be able to achieve the following learning outcomes upon completion of training:
1. Identify the process and principles of case management
2. Describe the ethics and professional responsibilities of case worker
3. Engage stakeholders for case planning
4. Support groups and mechanisms
5. Assess client’s needs for casework interventions
6. Manage clients’ associated risk and protective factors
7. Identify case planning principles, guidelines and theories
8. Develop care plans to support client’s need in accordance to organisational practice
9. Apply conflict resolution and counselling techniques with clients
10. Write social report, conduct closure of cases and obtain resources to deliver casework interven-tions
11. Implement evaluation methods
12. Review client’s progress and evaluate casework intervention outcomes

Entry Requirements
Educational Level, and language & literacy proficiency level
- GCE ‘N’ Level
- Demonstrate English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills at a proficiency level not lower than the ES WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
Required years of experience - No prior work experience is required.
